Employer: PnS Group (Pty) Ltd

Job Purpose: To render a support service to the People Services department by collecting, collating, and distributing HR/Payroll-related/employee information and reports according to deadlines, policies and procedures. The role involves a strong administrative focus, as well as liaison and co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders

Job Outputs: 

1. Planning and organizing: Ability to establish a course of action for self or others to accomplish a specific goal through effective planning, appropriate assignment of personnel and appropriate allocation of other resources.

2.Analysis: Ability to secure relevant information and identify key issues and relationships from a base of information, relate and compare data from different sources and identify cause-effect relationships.

3.Problem Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, organize and solve problems and issues in a timely and effective manner.

4.Judgment: (Decision Making) Ability to make decisions that reflect sound judgment.

5.Responsibility: Takes personal responsibility for their actions and their consequences. Believes they are in charge of their own future. Recognizes their ability to influence outside forces and does not attribute their successes or failures to luck or to the power of others.

6.Communication: Verbal and Written Expressing ideas effectively in individual or group situations and across distances; adjusting language or terminology to the characteristics or needs of the audience. This includes the appropriate use of body language. Initiate conversations and invite others to communicate with them.

7.Conflict Management: Ability to identify, manage and resolve potential and actual conflict through effective communication and relationship building skills.

8.Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain professional business associations at all levels including seniors, juniors, peers, colleagues’ customers, clients, service partners, government and community stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

Diploma in Human Resources Management/Industrial Psychology/Organizational Psychology

2 years Human Resources administrative experience, preferably in retail / FMCG

Experience in working with HR information systems MS office proficiency to intermediate level (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, NMWA, Retail Sectoral Determination, LRA, EEA, OHSA
