- BTech / MTech Industrial Engineering
- MBA (Preferred)
- 15-18 years’ relevant experience
- 3rd Party experience is essential
- Experience with Cosmetics and Hair care products (Essential)
- Knowledge of statutory requirements and laws
- People management skills
- Overall responsibility to meet Units target with respect to operational efficiency i.e ensuring product availability at right time, controlling overheads, wastage reduction/control and improving manpower productivity and automation.
- Plans and schedules the preventative maintenance of all manufacturing lines and utilities in the Factory.
- Evaluates and monitors maintenance records.
- Is responsible for ensuring minimum downtime.
- Ensure minimizing of breakdowns
- Identifies and develops vendors for upkeep and repair work of machinery and spare parts.
- Is responsible for driving initiatives to improve utilization and productivity of manufacturing & packing machines to reduce costs.
- Is responsible for taking initiatives on process instrumentation, automation to optimize headcount
- Is responsible for ensuring Quality, Safety and GMP Best practices and facilitate ISO standards certification
- Compliance:
- Responsible for managing external environment for ensuring complete statutory compliance of the unit
- To implement Operating manuals of corporate i.e. Accounting/Purchase/HR
- Budgets and overheads:
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling cash overheads (Salary & Wages, Stores & spares, power & fuel)/capital expenses within the approved budgets
- New projects:
- Responsible for introduction and implementation of new projects for achieving organizational goals
- Team Building:
- Responsible for keeping the team in high morale and ensuring high motivation of employees
