The ideal professional should operate at a senior level and possess a strong background in Data Quality Management, Data Governance, and the implementation of data quality frameworks within a banking or financial services environment. The professional should demonstrate experience in driving data quality initiatives, conducting data quality assessments, defining and implementing data quality rules, managing remediation activities, and engaging with senior business stakeholders to improve the integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency of critical data assets.

Key exposure:

• Extensive experience in Data Quality Management within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance principles and frameworks.
• Experience with data quality assessments, profiling, monitoring, and reporting.
• Ability to engage effectively with business and technology stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record in identifying data quality issues and driving remediation initiatives.
• Experience working with regulatory and compliance-driven data environments will be advantageous.

• Matric
• Degree/ Diploma and/ or related certifications 
• Banking or broader financial services experience required
• Consulting and/or strong stakeholder management is required
• Must be able to start at short notice
• Must be able to work in office
