iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong Kafka experience to join a dynamic banking technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance enterprise applications and event-driven systems within a fast-paced financial services environment.

This role requires solid backend development expertise, experience with distributed systems, and the ability to work on scalable banking platforms that support critical business operations.

Required skills and experience

• Strong experience in Java development.
• Solid experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL skills including queries, joins, and stored procedures.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience within banking or financial services environments is highly beneficial.
