Blue Label Telecoms is focused on taking product and services to consumers within the middle and bottom of the world’s economic pyramid, successfully processing in excess of 300 million monthly transactions through its global footprint of several hundred thousand mobile and physical points of presence, which currently spans four continents.

In South Africa, Blue Label Telecoms’ core business is significant in terms of both revenue and footprint (in excess of 100 000 points of presence) and currently distributes the following secure electronic tokens of value and transactional services:

Prepaid airtime and starter packs, prepaid electricity and prepaid funeral and insurance;
Gift vouchers, loyalty and stored value cards;
ATM cash backs; and
Bill payments.

The Group has successfully replicated its core South African business model across other emerging and developing economies, notably India, and is currently distributing secure electronic tokens of value, (virtually or physically) across numerous jurisdictions.

In order to meet the growing global demand from consumers for new prepaid products and value added services (VAS), the Group aims to launch its own proprietary product and VAS offerings, including money transfers.

Blue Label Telecoms is also focused on distributing third party prepaid products and VAS such as ticketing for buses, games and trains through its ever expanding local and global footprint of touch points.
