- Partner with Human Resources Business Partners and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
- Create, maintain, and update job descriptions and job advertisements.
- Manage job boards, recruitment platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Coordinate interviews, bulk recruitment days, assessment centres, and candidate communication.
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including document collection, background checks, and induction processes.
- Support the seamless integration of new employees by coordinating training and onboarding requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Manage recruitment and HR-related administration, filing, and record keeping.
- Generate recruitment reports and track key hiring metrics.
- Assist with HR processes, including compliance documentation and employee data management.
- Coordinate meetings, interviews, and recruitment-related events.
- Respond to candidate and employee queries professionally and timeously.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years' experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, Recruitment, or a related administrative role.
- Previous retail recruitment or retail industry experience will be highly advantageous.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
