Duties:

Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation

Assisting with cost allocation

General ledger reconciliations

Creditors account reconciliations

Month-end and year-end closing processes

1. Responsible for the daily financial accounting work of the South African company, ensuring the authenticity and accuracy of financial data, and completing monthly closing and annual financial statement preparation on time;

2. Manage local tax filing (including VAT, corporate income tax, etc.), ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and timely payment;

3. Assist in annual audit work, cooperate with internal and external audit requirements, and implement relevant audit rectification items.

Experience and Education:

BCom Accounting

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Candidate Requirements

1. College diploma or above, majoring in finance, accounting, or related fields, with preference given to candidates holding South African Certified Public Accountant (SAICA or equivalent) qualifications;

2. At least 2 years of practical experience in financial management or related fields, with solid knowledge of finance, taxation, auditing, and internal control;

3. Familiar with relevant South African financial laws and regulations, IFRS standards, and local tax laws;

4. Proficient in using mainstream financial systems (such as SAP/Sage, etc.) and office software;

5. Holding legal status in South Africa (long-term visa/PR) and a valid driver's license, and able to adapt to the local work environment;

6. Possessing good professional ethics, strong stress resistance, and cross-departmental communication and coordination skills.
