We are seeking an energetic, hands-on Change Manager to support a strategic Data Programme. This role will be responsible for driving organisational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, adoption, and behavioural change across multiple business areas impacted by data transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with programme leadership, business stakeholders, data teams, technology teams, and end-users to ensure successful adoption of new data capabilities, processes, ways of working, and data-driven decision-making.
This is a contract position suited to a proactive, resilient, and highly engaging individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and can influence change across all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Change Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute change management strategies and plans aligned to programme objectives.
- Conduct stakeholder and impact assessments to identify change risks and adoption challenges.
- Define change interventions to support successful implementation and business readiness.
- Monitor and report on change progress, adoption metrics, and stakeholder sentiment.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with business leaders, programme teams, and end-users.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders throughout the transformation journey.
- Facilitate workshops, engagement sessions, and feedback forums.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively address resistance to change.
Communications
- Develop and deliver targeted communication plans and messaging.
- Create engaging content that simplifies complex data and technology concepts.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication across impacted business units.
- Support leadership communication and change sponsorship activities.
Adoption & Business Readiness
- Assess organisational readiness for change.
- Identify capability gaps and support the development of training and enablement plans.
- Drive user adoption of new data platforms, tools, processes, and governance practices.
- Support transition activities to embed sustainable change within the organisation.
Change Measurement & Reporting
- Track adoption, engagement, and readiness metrics.
- Identify risks and issues that may impact programme success.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to programme leadership.
- Recommend interventions to improve adoption and business outcomes.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- 5+ years' experience in Change Management, Business Transformation, Organisational Change, or related roles.
- Proven experience supporting large-scale transformation, technology, digital, or data initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience developing communication, engagement, and adoption strategies.
- Ability to operate effectively across both business and technical teams.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working on Data, Analytics, AI, Data Governance, or Digital Transformation programmes.
- Change Management certification (Prosci, APMG, ACMP, or equivalent).
- Experience within complex, matrixed organisations.
