Site Agent – High Rise Residential Developments | Atlantic Seaboard, Cape Town

A well-established and highly respected building contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to take responsibility for the successful delivery of prestigious high-rise residential developments along Cape Town’s sought-after Atlantic Seaboard.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a proven track record in managing complex, multi-storey building projects to the highest standards of quality, safety and programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full site management and coordination of high-rise residential construction projects.
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Monitoring construction programmes and resolving site-related challenges.
• Managing health and safety compliance and ensuring adherence to all regulations.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, architects and professional teams.
• Controlling materials, plant, labour and project costs.
• Preparing progress reports and attending site meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management or a related qualification.
• Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience as a Site Agent on large multi-level residential developments is essential.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage demanding programmes within a high-pressure environment.
