Chrysalis Academy, a smoke, drug and alcohol-free organisation seeks an energetic and highly motivated Individual for its position of:
Facilities Manager
Purpose:
● To manage the Chrysalis Academy facilities by ensuring that the facilities are optimally used and that compliance with health and safety regulations is adhered to.
● To act as the central point of contact for internal staff, tenants and external clients, ensuring that facilities are utilized efficiently, bookings are recorded accurately, and client needs are met.
Requirements:
- A valid matric certificate or equivalent.
- A bachelor's degree in facilities management, management or business.
- A valid Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant and appropriate experience.
- Knowledge of facilities and contract management and the OHSA.
- Fluent in at least 2 South African languages.
- Well-grounded, non-smoker and of sober habits.
Key performance areas:
- Manage all venue booking requests.
- Prepare and issue booking quotations, confirmations and invoices.
- Manage all catering requests efficiently and ensure that complaints or service concerns are promptly addressed.
- Manage the SLA agreements with tenants and ensure all tenants comply with their SLA requirements.
- Manage and supervise General Cleaners, Laundry Supervisor, and Laundry Assistants.
- Promote and market the facilities efficiently to achieve income targets.
- Conduct site visits and inspections.
- Uphold compliance of all facilities with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Maintain accurate statistics and record keeping for organisational reporting.
