Unlock Your Potential! We’re looking for a passionate Engineering Storeman to join our NBL Durban Tea in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the engineering team in terms of sourcing and purchasing engineering equipment and services to ensure production continuity; and will be accountable for managing engineering stock requirements; spend transparency and engineering material master data accuracy.

Job Specification:

Key Performance Areas:

1. Manage and control store stock and obsolete stock

• Month-end compliance tasks – close off audits
• Ordering of spares in accordance with the specification and check on receipts
• Involve self in continuously seeking opportunities to reduce stock loss
• Ensure monthly stock take is carried out according to company policy
• Liaise with the factory engineering manager before the implementation of ideologies
• Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained within the Cosmetics Factory shop
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness and proper stocking of items
• Provide excellent service to the production and engineering
• Resolve and respond to customer queries in an accommodating and timeous manner

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:                                                                   

• 3 – 5 years relevant Storeman experience
• Experience within a FMCG and Manufacturing Environment
• Working with Executives and a Senior Management Team

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Qualification in Stock - Control Management or Warehouse Management
• Certificate in Project Management

Additional Requirements:

• SAP experience
• MS Office with advanced Excel and relevant report writing tools
• Principles of stores
• Project Management methodology
• Basic ordering spares
