Role Description: The Accounts & Administration Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Town.This position is responsible for daily financial and administrative tasks, including processing invoices, capturing transactions, assisting with reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records. The role includes managing documentation, filing, and data entry, as well as coordinating office activities, scheduling, and basic procurement support. The officer will handle incoming calls and queries, support customer and supplier communication, and liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth project and office operations. The position requires consistent follow-up on outstanding items, preparation of basic reports, and adherence to company procedures and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Strong Numerical And Administrative Skills: 1 to 2 years
- Proficiency In Pastel Accounting: 1 to 2 years
- Relevant Certificate, Diploma, Or Equivalent Experience In Accounting, Office Administration: 1 to 2 years

Qualifications
- Strong General Administration and Administrative Assistance skills, including record keeping, filing, and accurate data entry.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Solid Organisation Skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines in a project-oriented environment.
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge (e.g., invoicing, reconciliations, transaction capturing) and familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) and comfort working with digital documents and spreadsheets.
- Previous experience in an accounts, office administration, or similar support role; experience in construction, civil works, or related industries is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse on-site team.
- Relevant certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience in accounting, office administration, or business will be regarded favourably.

- Experience in debtors, creditors, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Pastel Accounting.
- Strong numerical and administrative skills.
