KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Foreman, Mechanical (Pumps )-2 positions
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

Implement, monitor, coordinate and control various underground Infrastructure initiatives. The incumbent supervises specialists and the scope / portfolio of this role includes dewatering the mine, ensuring no flooding takes place, providing water supply for mining, constructing dams, installing pumping systems, and assisting the mining teams to move forward.
You will have the following:
- Must have a N3 Certificate
- Must be a trade tested Artisan (Fitting /Rigger /Boilermaker)
- Must have at least 10 years’ experience as a qualified Artisan in an underground mining environment
- Must have at least 3 years supervisory experience.
- Must have knowledge and experience working mining pump installation and construction in an underground mine environment
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous.
