Step into a rewarding role as a Quality Systems Manager with a respected FMCG team in the Western Cape!

With a focus on ensuring food safety compliance, audit readiness, and system integrity, you will manage the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (FSQMS), including HACCP, certification standards, and audit processes. You will lead internal and external audits, oversee CAPA and risk management, manage supplier quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your experience in food safety systems, audit management, and quality governance will support the successful delivery of compliance, risk reduction, and a strong quality culture across the business.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess a solid background in FSQMS within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment. A relevant degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field is required, along with 7–10 years’ experience and proven expertise in FMCG and/or food manufacturing. Candidates must have demonstrated experience managing FSQMS systems, and Lead Auditor certification (BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 or equivalent). Strong leadership, integrity, and attention to detail, along with the ability to influence operations, solve problems analytically, and drive continuous improvement, will be key to success in this role.
