Origin Wine, located in Stellenbosch is looking for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, equipment and plant infrastructure to minimise downtime and support production efficiency.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on problem-solver with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial environment.

KPA’s will include (but not be limited to): *Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems, equipment, motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and distribution components *Conduct routine preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency *Troubleshoot electrical faults, identify hazards, and perform repairs or replacements where required *Attend to machine, equipment, vehicle, and plant breakdowns as required *Perform preventative maintenance according to maintenance schedules and records *Liaise with external service providers regarding plant maintenance and service requirements *Maintain maintenance records and statutory registers in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements *Assist with building maintenance, including basic electrical and plumbing repairs *Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), HACCP, GMP, and company procedures *Promote and maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the workplace *Participate in on-call duties on a rotational basis.

Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Grade 12 and a relevant technical qualification required;

• Trade-tested Electrician Certificate is required;

• Minimum 5 years' industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment;

• Valid drivers license.
