Salary: R20,000 CTC Commission

A substantial commission structure is offered once monthly billing targets are met (R20,000 billing target per month).

About the Role

We are looking for a driven Senior Sage Pastel Payroll Support Consultant to join a growing team and play a key role in supporting clients. This is a client-facing position suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people, and taking ownership.

You will support clients on Sage Pastel Payroll, ensure accurate payroll processing, and help businesses remain compliant with relevant legislation.

Some administrative responsibilities are included in the role.

Minimum Requirements

At least 10 years experience working with Sage Pastel Payroll

Matric and a basic tertiary qualification

Sage Pastel Payroll qualification (Essential)

Strong knowledge of Sage Pastel Payroll (technical assessment will be conducted)

Knowledge of other Sage products (Essential)

PCC knowledge (Essential)

Good understanding of Microsoft Office

Microsoft Excel Specialist (Essential)

Understanding and experience with E@syFile submissions

Strong people and communication skills

A willingness to learn and grow

Ability to work well under pressure

Own reliable vehicle (Essential)

Key Responsibilities

Provide telephonic and onsite support to clients

Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls

Submit EMP501 reconciliations via E@syFile

Stay up to date with payroll and tax legislation

Canvass for new clients during quieter periods

Sell payroll packages, upgrades, payslips, and consulting services

Build strong, long-term client relationships
