TechMarkit is entering an exciting new chapter of growth with the launch of an exciting retail network and the continued expansion of our leadership position in the pre-owned technology market.

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven Marketing Executive to build marketing structure, strategy, and execution from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of two exciting brands while working directly with senior leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable developing marketing strategy and personally driving execution. You will be responsible for creating demand, growing brand equity, increasing customer engagement, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes across both retail and TechMarkit.

About the Role

As Marketing Executive, you will lead the planning, development, and execution of all marketing initiatives across TechMarkit's retail portfolio. Working closely with the executive team, you will drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, retail footfall, and revenue growth through integrated marketing campaigns that span digital, retail, social, PR, and promotional channels.

This is a highly visible role with significant influence on the success of a flagship retail expansion and the continued growth of a leading technology retailer.

Key Strategic Focus Areas

TechMarkit

Drive brand growth and category leadership within the pre-owned technology market.

Key objectives include:

  • Building awareness and trust in the TechMarkit brand.
  • Creating and executing retail, promotional, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Developing innovative customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Strengthening market positioning as the leading destination for premium pre-owned technology.
  • Driving measurable improvements in marketing performance and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Own and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy and retail calendar across multiple brands.
  • Develop integrated campaigns spanning digital, social media, PR, retail, promotional, and experiential marketing channels.
  • Drive campaign planning, implementation, optimisation, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Ensure all campaigns align with commercial objectives and revenue targets.

Performance Marketing & Analytics

  • Analyse digital marketing performance, SEO metrics, campaign effectiveness, and customer insights.
  • Monitor marketing KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance and ROI.
  • Optimise marketing investment and channel allocation to maximise business outcomes.
  • Use data and consumer insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Lead weekly marketing reviews and performance discussions.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Brief and direct creative teams to deliver high-quality marketing assets and campaign collateral.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and brand partners.

Brand Management

  • Develop and maintain consistent brand standards across all customer-facing channels.
  • Ensure all marketing activity reflects the premium positioning of the brand and the value proposition of TechMarkit.
  • Drive innovation in customer engagement and brand storytelling.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively and responsibly.
  • Measure and report on campaign performance and marketing return on investment.
  • Ensure all marketing activity delivers measurable commercial impact.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years' marketing experience.
  • At least 5 years in a senior management, leadership, or executive-level marketing role.
  • Proven success delivering marketing strategies and campaigns within retail, FMCG, consumer electronics, telecommunications, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously within fast-paced environments.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, website analytics, and performance marketing.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and other digital reporting tools.
  • Proficiency with AI-powered productivity and marketing tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and similar platforms.

Advantageous Experience

  • Consumer electronics, technology, mobile, or retail sector experience.
  • Passion for technology across Android, Apple, Windows, and Mac ecosystems.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Portfolio of evidence demonstrating successful campaign execution and measurable results.
  • Contactable professional references from previous leadership roles.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Results-driven and highly accountable.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
