- Assist with employment contracts, onboarding, and employee records management
- Maintain accurate training, competency, and HR documentation
- Perform payroll support functions, including:
- Reconciliation of third-party statements (medical aid, pension, UIF, etc.) with payroll
- Assisting with payroll audits and reporting
- Support disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labour legislation
- Assist with employment equity reporting and submissions
- Support HR projects such as training, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all HR data and processes
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

DEKRA Automotive is seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and performance-driven HR Generalist to support the HR Manager in delivering effective HR operations, compliance, and payroll-related functions within a regulated environment.

- Excel: 4 to 5 years
- Sage300 People: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, Industrial Psychology, or related field
- Strong understanding of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EE Act)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an HR administrative or HR support role
- Experience working with payroll systems (preferably Sage 300)
