We are looking for a highly creative, commercially minded, and technically skilled Digital Designer to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for creating compelling visual content across digital and print channels that drives customer engagement, supports product launches, enhances the customer experience, and ultimately contributes to sales growth.

Working within a fast-paced consumer electronics and technology retail environment, you will produce everything from social media content and video reels to website banners, retail signage, and large-format promotional materials. You will play a critical role in bringing our brands to life while ensuring strict adherence to Corporate Identity (CI) standards, particularly within globally recognised technology brands. 

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Content Production

  • Design and produce digital marketing assets including website banners, landing page graphics, email marketing creatives, display advertising, and digital signage.
  • Create engaging social media content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and emerging platforms.
  • Develop campaign assets across multiple formats including static posts, carousel content, stories, reels, and promotional graphics.
  • Produce retail and print materials including POS, window graphics, promotional posters, shelf talkers, pull-up banners, and in-store branding elements.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork to commercial printing standards, including bleed, colour profiles, and resolution requirements.
  • Create and edit short-form video content for social media and digital campaigns.
  • Produce product showcase videos, launch campaigns, promotional content, and feature demonstrations.
  • Design motion graphics, animated elements, title sequences, and branded transitions.
  • Optimise video content for platform-specific requirements and audience engagement.

Brand & Corporate Identity Management

  • Ensure all creative output complies with established Corporate Identity guidelines.
  • Apply multiple brand standards consistently across different business units and campaigns.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy regarding logos, typography, colour palettes, imagery, and brand messaging.
  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of brand asset libraries and creative templates.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with marketing teams, product managers, retail operations, and external suppliers to deliver high-quality campaigns.
  • Interpret and execute creative briefs accurately and effectively.
  • Present creative concepts and explain design rationale to stakeholders.
  • Manage feedback and revisions professionally while maintaining project timelines.
  • Stay abreast of design trends, emerging technologies, platform updates, and best practices within the consumer technology sector.
  • Leverage AI-powered creative tools to enhance productivity, ideation, and content quality.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve creative execution and campaign effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
  • Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience in a corporate marketing, retail, or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience producing creative assets across digital, print, social media, and video platforms.
  • Experience working within formal Corporate Identity frameworks.
  • Consumer electronics, technology, telecommunications, or retail industry experience is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills

Design Software

  • Adobe Photoshop (Expert)
  • Adobe Illustrator (Expert)
  • Adobe InDesign (Proficient)
  • Adobe Premiere Pro (Proficient to Expert)
  • Adobe After Effects (Proficient)
  • Canva Pro (Proficient)
  • CapCut
  • Adobe Express
  • DaVinci Resolve (Advantageous)
  • AI Creative Tools including Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL-E, Runway, Pika, Kling, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar platforms

Other Skills

  • Strong understanding of print production requirements and digital asset optimisation.
  • Knowledge of social media platform specifications and content best practices.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • Experience with collaborative project management and digital asset management systems.
  • Strong visual design and storytelling ability.
  • Exceptional typography and layout skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of retail marketing objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working across multiple brands and creative styles.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and emerging design trends.
