Job Summary:
• Consult with Affinity Enterprise members to establish diagnoses and treat clients/members accordingly. Must be willing to do Telehealth.
• Provide best clinical practice and quality healthcare to members.
Key Tasks:
Determine Appropriate Treatment Once Diagnosed
• Action cases within the SLA
• Evaluate patients e.g. record consultation, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Minimize GP referrals
• Encourage appropriate OTC utilization
• Provide telehealth services for staff and clients
• Deliver appropriate information to healthcare users
• Explain potential side effects of medication
• Provide patients with information and advice on prescribed over the counter medication.
• Provide quality comprehensive Primary Health Care by providing promotive, preventative, curative and rehabilitative services for clients
• Ensuring proper utilization and safekeeping basic medical equipment, surgical pharmaceutical and stock.
• Assist in orientation, induction and monitoring of all staff.
• To provide nursing care that leads to improved health service delivery by upholding by company values
• Execute duties and functions with proficiency and perform duties according to scope of practice.
• Implement infection control standards and practices to improve quality of nursing care.
• Improve the knowledge of staff and clients through health education and in service training.
• Implement standards, practices criteria for quality nursing.
• Maintain a constructive working relationship with all staff and other stakeholders.
• Supervision of patients’ reports and intervention, keeping a good valid record on all client interventions.
• Ensuring proper utilization of Human, material and financial resources and keeping up to date records of resources.
• Motivate junior staff regarding development in order to increase level of expertise and assists patients to develop a sense of self-care.
• Strengthen data systems and treatment outcomes by live capturing on CRM
• Support the realization and maintenance of the facility.
Perform Administrative Duties
• Improve areas identified by the QA team
• Continue with CPD
• Keep accurate records of activities and actions.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
• Matric
• Nursing Diploma/Degree, in General Nursing Science and Midwifery or 4 year General nurse with Midwifery, community, and psychiatry
• Registered with SANC
• Dispensing license - MUST HAVE
• Driver’s Licence
Essential Experience:
• Experience in clinical evaluation of patients’ signs and symptoms
• Experience in providing prescriptions
• Primary Health care experience.
Knowledge and Skill:
• Extensive MS Office knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good telephonic etiquette
• Good listening skills
• Strong administration skills
• Knowledge in Primary Healthcare
• Strong organisation skills
• Good time management skills
