We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Manager to join our fast-paced FMCG operation in Gouda, Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products consistently meet company quality standards, food safety requirements, customer specifications, and regulatory compliance standards.

The ideal candidate must have strong leadership ability, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing quality systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and food safety systems across the production facility.
• Ensure compliance with FMCG industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee product inspections, laboratory testing, and quality monitoring processes.
• Lead internal audits, GMP inspections, and hygiene compliance activities.
• Investigate product non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality incidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor production processes to minimise defects, waste, and product recalls.
• Maintain and improve HACCP, ISO, and food safety management systems.
• Prepare quality reports, trend analyses, and KPI tracking for senior management.
• Train and supervise quality control staff and production teams on quality standards and food safety procedures.
• Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent product quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce quality-related costs.
