Our client, a leading company in the Heavy Steel Construction industry, is seeking a Tekla Draughtsman to join their engineering and fabrication team in Rustenburg. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing skills, experience in AutoCAD and Tekla, and a keen eye for detail within structural and SMPP environments.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Draughting

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Tekla
• Prepare fabrication, assembly, and general arrangement drawings
• Update and revise drawings according to engineering changes

Structural & SMPP Detailing

• Create detailed drawings for structural steel, platework, and piping
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and client specifications

Workshop & Project Support

• Assist workshop teams with drawing clarifications
• Provide support during fabrication and installation phases
• Ensure accurate document control and drawing version management

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with engineers, project managers, and workshop supervisors
• Attend project meetings when required
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings to support project schedules
