Our client, an Expert Tax and Accounting Services provider in Cape Town, has an opportunity for an Accountant to join their team. In this role you will take full responsibility for tax compliance and full accounting function including independent review engagement of your portfolio of clients. The headlines of your KPI’s will include: Accounting and Financial Reporting, Vat & Payroll, Taxation and Independent Reviews.
You will liaise directly with your clients, building a strong relationship, providing advisory support and ensure all submission deadlines are met.
 
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
Completed articles (SAIPA, SAICA, or similar)
Registered with a recognized professional body (SAIPA / SAICA / AGA(SA) / CA(SA))
Minimum 1 – 2 years post-article experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Accounting software
Experience and knowledge of payroll software
Proven experience handling multiple client portfolios
