Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Benoni. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, preparing financial records and reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, supporting audits, and meeting month-end reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals, provisions, and accruals
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Prepare VAT returns
• Compile and present financial reports
• Monitor spending, balances, and subledger batches
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements
• Maintain and improve accounting controls and SOPs
• Analyse financial performance and identify risks
• Provide support and guidance to accounting clerical staff
