Our client in Pretoria is looking for a Portfolio manager Salary - R60K - R90K depending on experience

Minimum requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

Honours degree in Finance, Investments, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
CFA, CA(SA), or similar postgraduate qualification advantageous.
Relevant experience in investments, equity analysis, portfolio management, and company valuations.

Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Bloomberg experience advantageous

Responsibilities

Respond to investment and market-related queries from advisors.
Work with investment teams across asset classes to provide accurate and timely feedback.
Assist with stock-specific enquiries and portfolio transition analysis.
Present portfolio performance, positioning, and market insights to clients.
Respond to client queries and provide investment-related commentary.
Monitor and maintain bespoke client portfolios in line with mandate objectives.
Analyse and value companies for potential inclusion in portfolios.
Generate investment ideas and make recommendations to the Lead Portfolio Manager.
Assist with portfolio construction and ongoing portfolio management
