- Lead the SHEQ function across the manufacturing operation

- Reduce customer complaints, scrap, waste and quality-related costs

- Develop SHEQ policies, procedures and standards
- Provide SHEQ reporting and KPI analysis to senior management
- Lead, coach and develop the SHEQ team
- Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Relevant Degree or NQF Level 7 qualification in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or related field
- Minimum 8 years' SHEQ / Quality Management experience within plastics manufacturing
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor & certification, with proof of logged hours.
- Proven leadership experience managing SHEQ functions at a strategic level
- Strong project management and continuous improvement experience
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience leading customer, ISO and third-party audits, reporting, analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills

Our client, a leading rigid plastics manufacturer specialising in plastic injection moulding, is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead and drive the company's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality functions across the business. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving the company's Quality Management System, Health & Safety programmes, ISO compliance framework and operational excellence initiatives.
Essential Requirement
Plastic Injection Moulding Experience is non-negotiable
Candidates must have proven experience within a plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment and possess a strong technical understanding of injection moulding processes, tooling, quality standards, production controls and manufacturing methodologies.
