We are seeking a mid-senior Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our team, responsible for delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects across Agile and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will bring formal PM and Agile certification, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of on-time, within-budget delivery.

We are seeking a dynamic, certified, and experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). This is a dual-function role, carrying responsibility as both a Project Manager and an embedded Scrum Master across project teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects across Agile and hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) environments. You will bring formal project management and Agile certification, a strong stakeholder engagement capability, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Operating within a fast-paced IT and infrastructure environment, you will manage projects spanning AI, cloud infrastructure (IaaS), virtualization (VDC), networking, and data protection (Veeam). You will work closely with the Programme Manager, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery aligned to organizational goals.

High-level Job Objectives

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Plan, schedule, and manage end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying risks and issues early and escalating where necessary.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and the Programme Manager.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, and timeline constraints.

Resource Management & Scheduling

  • Coordinate and manage resource allocation across project teams, ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Develop and maintain resource plans and scheduling forecasts to support project delivery.
  • Work with team leads and stakeholders to identify resource gaps and resolve conflicts proactively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules using the Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, etc.) and other Project Management tools(Jira, Smartsheet etc)
  • Track and report on resource capacity and demand to the Programme Manager.

Agile / Scrum Master Duties

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach and support project teams in adopting and embedding Agile principles and best practices.
  • Maintain and manage the product and sprint backlogs in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team performance and sprint delivery.
  • Track and report on sprint velocity, burndown, and other Agile metrics.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement across project delivery practices and workflows.
  • Support the implementation and embedding of improved processes, templates, and standards.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Project Management Office (PMO) framework.
  • Document lessons learned and apply these to future project delivery

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate project updates clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and collaborative sessions as required.
  • Prepare high-quality project documentation, presentations, and reports.

  • Grade 12 Essential
  • Project Management Professional (PMP – PMI)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
  • PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner
  • AgilePM Foundation
  • AgilePM Practitioner
  • PRINCE2 Foundation
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner

Related Work Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience
  • Minimum 2 years delivering projects in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working both independently and in a Team oriented, collaborative environment

Job Knowledge

  • Competent working knowledge with various Project management tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Monday.com
  • Working knowledge of AI, IaaS, VDC, Veeam, Networking
  • Knowledge of Project management, Process improvement, Methodical process driven tasks
  • Competent working knowledge with various software programs: Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives within a project environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within a PMO or structured project delivery environment.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Planner.
  • Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall (hybrid) delivery environments.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Knowledge of change management principles.
