A well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, results-driven Executive Key Account Manager to join its sales leadership team.

 

This opportunity is ideal for a mature sales professional with a proven track record in B2B product sales, key account management, and new business development. We are looking for an individual who thrives on building strategic customer relationships, securing large contracts, and driving sustainable revenue growth in a competive market

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Achieve and exceed sales budgets, profitability targets, and growth objectives.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with customers and decision-makers.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, and pricing proposals.
  • Analyse customer requirements and provide practical commercial solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, finance, and management teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Represent the company professionally at all levels, from site personnel to executive management.

  • B2b Sales Experience: 8 to 9 years

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Minimum 10 years' proven B2B sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing large customer accounts.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Experience selling physical products in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or related environment.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Sound commercial and business acumen.
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays when required.
