The Onsite Level 4 IT Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced technical support within the client environment at the client site in Durban. The role focuses on maintaining, supporting, and optimising the client’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across systems, networks, and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 4 onsite technical support across the client IT environment.
- Perform server administration across:
- Windows Server
- Linux environments
- Microsoft Azure
- Deliver hardware and software support, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues.
- Manage and support cloud services deployment and maintenance, primarily within Microsoft Azure.
- Provide support and administration for:
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Support and maintain network infrastructure, including:
- VLANs
- Routing
- Switching
- Voice and data networks
- CCTV systems
- Maintain and update client technical documentation in line with operational changes and best practice.
- Manage support tickets, including:
- Logging all incidents and requests
- Ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs
- Providing regular client feedback and updates
- Producing reporting on support activities
