Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and plans using Revit software for architectural and/or structural projects. The ideal candidate must have strong Revit experience, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently within project deadlines.The Draughtsman will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and client requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using RevitInterpret architectural and engineering sketches and specificationsProduce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for construction and design projectsAmend and update drawings as required by project teamsEnsure all drawings comply with company standards and building regulationsCoordinate drawing information with architects, engineers, and consultantsConduct site measurements and inspections when requiredMaintain proper drawing records and document controlAssist with project planning and design coordinationEnsure deadlines are met while maintaining high levels of accuracy

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as a Draughtsman
• Must be proficient in Revit software
• AutoCAD experience will be advantageous
• Relevant Draughting qualification or certification
• Strong understanding of construction methods and technical drawings
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
