Frail Care and Assisted Living Facility situated in East London is seeking to employ a SANC Registered Nurse, with minimum 5 years post qualification experience, to lead their team of nurses.  This role is night/day time shifts on a 12 months contract basis.

Key Performance Area's:

• Organisation and management of the department, 27 nursing staff includes - 4 professional nurses, rest are care givers
• Providing and maintaining a high standard of care to residents and families, ie kitchen staff and cleaning staff (ie, instruct on dietery requirements of some patients as per doctors orders)
• Designing Nursing Care Plans and Assessments
• Maintain stict safekeeping of medical records
• Identify and Report Medical legal hazards
• Ensure Equipment is maintained and in good working order
• Liaison between family, doctors, pharmacy, dieticians, physiotherapists, etc
