HOTEL RECEPTIONIST Stellenbosch: My client, an esteemed 5-Star Guest Lodge situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands, has a vacancy for a Receptionist to join their Team. If you have a passion for hospitality, a captivating personality and the drive to deliver only the best results and first-class service skills, then this is just the position for you.

Purpose of Role: To support the Reservations Manager in overseeing Front Office operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience, maintaining service excellence, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Guest Relations & Service:

Provide a warm welcome and professional check-in/check-out experience.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
Maintain guest profiles and ensure personalized service.

Operations & Administration:

Perform daily reception float checks, banking sign-offs, and house account reviews.
Conduct stock checks (stationery, guest supplies, keys, etc.).
Oversee front office hygiene, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.

Team Coordination & Support:

Assist with training needs and team communication.
Ensure smooth shift handovers and operational updates.
Drive upselling culture and maintain service standards.

Criteria:

Experience in front office, hospitality, or customer service roles.
Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Apex, Opera, and reservation systems is an advantage.
Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work under pressure.
