Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Butchery Blockman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and arranging meat products according to customer orders and quality standards, ensuring hygiene and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and store meat products in compliance with safety standards.
Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat such as beef, pork, chicken, and others.
Arrange and display meat products attractively for sale.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment.
Follow safety protocols and handle tools and equipment safely.
Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent customer service.
Keep records of inventory and report shortages or damages.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Butchery Blockman or similar role.
Knowledge of different meat cuts and butchery techniques.
Ability to operate knives, saws, grinders, and other butchery tools safely.
Good understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
Physical stamina and strength.
Good customer service skills.
Attention to detail and cleanliness.

Working Conditions:

Work in a cold environment within the butchery or meat section.
Long hours on foot, handling heavy meat blocks.
Use of protective gear such as aprons, gloves, and safety shoes.
