REQUIREMENTS:
- National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or BTech in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- 1–2 years' experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- 1–2 years' experience working with store designs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with CAD software will be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to complete work within established timeframes.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Diligent, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to think creatively and solve problems.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
DUTIES:
- Support the R&D, Services, and Sales/Quotations departments.
- Conduct daily remote monitoring of sites.
- Assemble new remote monitoring systems.
- Add new sites to the remote monitoring system.
- Provide, interpret, and process information gathered through site monitoring.
- Make changes and adjustments to site parameters based on information gathered from monitoring activities.
- Issue, log, report, program, and clear/reset alarms.
- Liaise with technicians and clients.
- Assist with CAD drawings.
- Conduct site visits to ensure accurate measurements are obtained.
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
