A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join their project team on a prestigious high-rise development in the Midrand area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional with a proven track record in managing building works, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering quality projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities on a high-rise building project.
• Manage labour, subcontractors, plant, and material resources.
• Ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
• Monitor productivity and maintain project deadlines.
• Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and site inspections.
• Coordinate site logistics and workflow between trades.
• Report progress, delays, and site issues to the Site Manager and Contracts Team.
• Ensure workmanship meets the required quality standards.
• Assist with planning and scheduling of construction activities.

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Relevant construction qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 8–10 years' experience in building construction.
• Proven experience working on multi-storey or high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, finishes, and building regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery.
• Valid driver's licence.
