A leading mining and metals processing operation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join its finance team. This role is responsible for providing financial support to capital projects, ensuring accurate cost control, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
✅ Professional accounting qualification or progress towards one will be advantageous.
✅ Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a Project Accounting, Management Accounting, or Financial Accounting role.
✅ Experience within mining, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or heavy industry environments is highly advantageous.
✅ Strong understanding of capital projects, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles.
✅ Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
✅ Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
✅ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
