Employer: Shanaaz Marlie Audiology Inc.
· Diary management : booking/ rescheduling of patient bookings
· Answering incoming calls – bookings/enquiries
· Cash and credit card payment and receipting.
· Billing knowledge – experience with GOODX would be favourable
· Stock control and ordering of stock.
· Creating patient files.
· Checking medical aid benefits (when it comes to hearing aids)
· Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
· Liaise with couriers for collections and deliveries. Preparing of parcels and waybills.
· Maintain confidentiality of all staff members and patients (multi-disciplinary practice) – but will only report to Audiologist
· Assist in any marketing initiatives or requirements.
· Assist in medical aid claims.
· Provide monthly statistics / reports
Candidate Requirements
Ability to work independently and unsupervised. Be approachable for other staff members and clients.
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Hardworking and professional.
· Patient-centred. MUST speak clearly – will be working with heard-of-hearing clients. Must be able to speak Afrikaan AND English fluently.
· Welcoming and warm personality.
· Respectful.
· Computer literacy and high attention to detail.
· Preferably residing in the Northern Suburbs
