About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading airline in Papua New Guinea, is seeking an experienced Airport Manager to oversee and lead airport ground operations at one of its key locations.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an aviation professional with strong operational management experience, a passion for safety, customer service excellence, and the ability to manage high-performing teams in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all airport operational activities and personnel
• Ensure safe, efficient and compliant airport operations
• Drive on-time performance and operational excellence
• Manage staffing, rosters, training and workforce planning
• Oversee ground support equipment (GSE) and operational assets
• Monitor operational budgets and control expenditure
• Maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, regulators and stakeholders
• Investigate operational incidents and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, company policies and safety procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service standards throughout the airport operation
