My client, a progressive and growing environmental company based on the East Rand (Benoni), is looking for the above trainee officer.

Duties include assisting with workplace health & safety inspections; compiling and maintaining company files, registers and documentation; assisting in the investigation of incidents and compiling reports; monitoring compliance with safety procedures and regulations; conducting site observations and identifying potential hazards; assisting with toolbox talks and safety communication; and general admin and compliance support.

Required Skills

Health And Safety: 1 year or less

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position must have matric, be bilingual (English/Afrikaans), have excellent communication skills, be strong on details. They must also have a valid drivers licence and own transport and preferably reside on the East Rand. We are also looking for those candidates who are willing to learn and develop in this field.

Training will be provided.

Normal working hours and salary between R8 000 and R10 000 neg depending on experience and potential.
