The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling client appointments, maintaining existing business, identifying new sales opportunities, and achieving individual targets. Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to handle client queries efficiently and identify potential risks to existing business relationships.

Candidate Requirements

• Schedule and manage business appointments with existing and prospective clients
• Meet and exceed individual sales targets
• Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships
• Identify opportunities to expand the client base and increase revenue through additional supply chain solutions
• Assess customer needs and develop new business opportunities
• Maintain accurate call records and update Salesforce reports regularly
• Prepare and deliver professional proposals and client presentations
• Handle client queries efficiently and professionally
• Identify potential risks to existing business relationships and escalate concerns when necessary

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification is essential
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification and/or relevant experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ corporate experience managing a portfolio of clients (5 years for senior-level roles)
• Experience working within reputable corporate environments
• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets
• Industry experience within the supply chain sector will be advantageous, including knowledge of freight, international logistics, and warehousing solutions
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at senior management level
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
