Our client, a global leader within the automotive industry, providing mobility solutions, vehicle products and services are seeking to appoint a Specialist: Developer to join their dynamic team within the IT/Software Development Division. Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable web applications, while leading technical projects and providing mentorship to junior developers.The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a solid understanding of software architecture principles, system integration, and agile development methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
5 – 8 years’ proven experience in software application development using .NET Core and .NET Framework technologies, including C#.NET and SQL
5 – 8 years’ experience in SQL development within a Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) environment
Strong proficiency in developing and optimising stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies
Demonstrated experience in web services as well as REST API development and integration

Technical Skills and Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications using Visual Basic.NET and C#.NET
Develop, optimise, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions
Apply advanced knowledge in the design and development of complex software applications and systems
Collaborate effectively with internal software development teams and third-party service providers to ensure the successful and timely delivery of products and solutions
Maintain, enhance, and improve existing codebases while developing new product features, functionalities, and system enhancements
Ensure software solutions are scalable, efficient, secure, and aligned with business and technical requirements
