Our client is a Utah-based provider of ABA therapy services committed to delivering high-quality care for individuals with developmental challenges. The company is actively scaling its operations by strengthening internal systems, expanding administrative support, and hiring experienced professionals who can support continued growth.
With a focus on professionalism, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence, the company is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to help manage day-to-day accounting functions and ensure accurate financial records as the organization expands.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks, bookkeeping, invoice entry, bank reconciliation, Excel, and Microsoft Office skills. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing bookkeeping responsibilities independently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, supporting monthly close processes, managing reconciliations, and assisting with reporting. Experience in healthcare, ABA therapy, or related service-based industries is preferred but not required.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of bookkeeping responsibilities, identify issues before they become problems, and support a growing healthcare-focused organization with professionalism and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions for the organization.
- Enter, code, and track invoices accurately in QuickBooks.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with billing, payment tracking, and financial documentation.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Support month-end and year-end bookkeeping processes.
- Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, payments, and accounting documents.
- Work closely with internal administrative and leadership teams to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with process improvements as the company scales operations.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and confidentiality standards.
- Use Excel and Microsoft Office tools to organize, analyze, and report financial information.
Candidate Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience handling full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks specifically with invoice entry and bank reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage confidential financial information professionally.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-6:30pm EDT
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ABA therapy, behavioral health, healthcare, medical billing, or a related healthcare services environment.
