Employer: BLACK TIE RECRUIT

My client requires a CMT QA to join an exciting team in Durban.

Development and implementation of quality control procedures for the entire factory.
Monitoring QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data and producing statistical reports.
Training and development of QA personnel to ensure they can perform their duties effectively.
Ensuring compliance with quality system requirements and maintaining a right Quality Management System.
Providing approval for print, embroidery, wash, and other requirements as per buying house standards.
Identifying and resolving production impracticalities in an appropriately timely manner.
Ensuring that all incoming, in-process, and final goods are properly inspected and documented.
Implementing preventive and remedial measures against the occurrence of defects.

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience in garment quality assurance.

Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and finishing standards.

Experience with bulk production QA and pre-shipment inspections.

Ability to create and follow QA checklists and SOPs.
