Nurture Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Hospital Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of our rehabilitation hospitals. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee multidisciplinary teams, drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hospital operations in line with Nurture Health policies and standards.
• Lead and support Nursing and Therapy Managers to achieve clinical and operational goals.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on hospital performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, staff, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Registration with SANC or the relevant HPCSA professional board.
• Proven leadership experience managing a therapy team (5+ professionals) or a hospital/ward with 25+ beds.
• Strong operational, people leadership, and performance management capabilities.
• A passion for rehabilitation, patient-centred care, and team empowerment.
• Resilience, sound judgement, and the ability to lead effectively in complex healthcare environments.
