- NQF Level 7 qualification in Risk Management, Law, Health Sciences, Governance, or a related discipline, with proven experience contributing to policy, process, and systems development within a complex healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of risk and compliance systems, governance practices, and professional compliance standards aligned with the CISA GACP and professionalism frameworks.
- Passionate about doing the right thing and protecting people and organisations from avoidable harm, with a professional, ethical, resilient, and solutions-focused approach.
- Highly structured and detail-oriented, with strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to respond calmly and constructively in high-stress or changing environments.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Risk and Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the organisation through the effective design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of risk and compliance policies, processes, and automated systems. This role focuses on ensuring that operations are compliant, evidence-based, efficient, and aligned with organisational objectives within the South African healthcare context.
You will work closely with the Business Process Manager and Specialist-level colleagues to strengthen risk and compliance capability across the organisation and support operational excellence.
