Head of Platform Operations
We are looking for a highly experienced and operationally strong Head of Platform Operations to take full operational ownership of IT, Support, Security, and Platform Operations across the organization.
This role is critical in scaling SENA Health’s IT operational infrastructure, ensuring reliability of our AI-driven healthcare platform, and leading global support operations that directly impact patient experience. The ideal candidate will combine technical depth, operational leadership, and security discipline with the ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

As Head of Platform Operations, you will operate as a key member of our the leadership team, partnering closely with the CTO to drive execution across all “run” functions of the business. You will lead a globally distributed team responsible for support engineering, telephony systems, infrastructure reliability, and security, ensuring our platform performs at scale across millions of patient interactions.
Over time, you will play a foundational role in building a highly reliable, secure, and scalable platform operations organization that supports SENA’s AI-first strategy and continued growth in the US healthcare market.
Job Duties
• Act as 2IC to the CTO, translating strategy into operational execution across IT and platform operations
• Own and lead Support Engineering, Infrastructure, Telephony, and Security functions
• Ensure system uptime, reliability, performance, and scalability across all platforms
• Build and implement support structures, SLAs, escalation frameworks, and monitoring systems
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis, ensuring continuous improvement
• Establish and enforce security policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management practices
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to ensure seamless build-to-run handoff and system operability
• Drive improvements in cost efficiency, system performance, and operational scalability
• Build and scale a high-performing team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
• Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on system performance, risks, and operational metrics

• Technical & Operational Assessment – A structured discussion or case study focused on system design, incident management, and operational strategy execution
• Leadership Interview – A deep dive into team leadership, scaling organizations, and execution capability
• Final Interview – Executive-level alignment and offer discussion
Candidate Requirements
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience leading support, infrastructure, or platform operations teams in a high-growth environment
• Must be able to work 8am–5pm EST with flexibility to support a 24/7 operational environment
• Experience managing distributed/global teams
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC2) is highly beneficial
• Ability to travel to the US periodically for in-person collaboration when required
Technical Requirements
• Strong understanding of AI, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems (AWS, GCP, and Azure)
• Experience managing high-availability, real-time systems (telephony, VoIP, or similar is a major advantage)
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC2, ISO)
• Experience with incident management, monitoring, and observability tools
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and system security best practices
• Experience working with modern application stacks (APIs, microservices, serverless architectures)
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, and operational dashboards
• Exposure to AI-driven systems or data platforms is a plus
