Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Technical Metallurgist to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for providing metallurgical and technical expertise to optimise product quality, improve process performance and support operational and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide metallurgical and technical support to ensure product quality, process efficiency and operational performance.
• Support contract execution by ensuring compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality management processes and monitor adherence to quality standards and service requirements.
• Conduct technical audits, investigations and site assessments to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
• Liaise with laboratories and operational teams to validate product quality and optimise metallurgical performance.
• Support process improvement initiatives, technical studies and implementation of new projects and processing methods.
• Monitor costs, analyse technical data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Prepare technical reports, performance analyses and quality reporting for management and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance, training and knowledge sharing to support continuous capability development.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sustainable operational and quality outcomes.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Diploma/Degree in Metallurgy
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Technical Metallurgist within the mining industry
• Distribution experience and knowledge of logistics principles
• Valid Driver's License

Benefits:

• Salary: R650k - R720k
