A well established company in Edenvale is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Handyman that is competent, reliable, and hardworking to support maintenance operations across a portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Minimum requirements:

Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections to identify and resolve issues before they escalate
Attend to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently
Maintain properties in a safe, clean, and presentable condition at all times
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company standards and procedures
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organised, and in good working condition
Take responsibility and accountability for all issued tools and equipment, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and safekeeping
Use materials and products efficiently and according to manufacturer guidelines
Provide feedback regarding recurring maintenance issues and potential upgrades
Engage professionally and respectfully with tenants, clients, and team members
Protect tenants’ furniture, fittings, and belongings while work is being carried out
Ensure thorough cleaning during and after completion of work
Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
Sound knowledge of general repairs within residential, commercial, and industrial environments
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and building maintenance
Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites
Physically fit and capable of lifting materials and working at heights when required
Valid driver’s license with extensive driving experience
SAPS Clearance Certificate (advantageous and/or required where applicable)
