Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for managing project financial accounting, budgeting and reporting processes to ensure effective financial control, compliance and project performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project financial accounting activities to support project execution through to completion.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, cash flow and financial performance to ensure effective financial control.
• Prepare financial reports, management accounts, forecasts and budget reporting.
• Support project teams with financial planning, analysis and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with annual financial statements, capital reporting and cash flow management.
• Support governance, statutory reporting and internal and external audit requirements.
• Drive accurate financial administration and reporting to support successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• BCom in Accounting or equivalent
• 5-8 years' experience as a Project Accountant within the mining industry
• Experience using SAP
• CA(SA) or CIMA (operational to strategic level) - Advantageous 
• Valid Driver's License
