An established Transport and Logistics company has a vacancy for a Candidate who wants to learn and specialize in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in transport, logistics planning, client service, transport management and operations in the Agricultural and Logistics sector.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for the following duties.
Liaising with Transporters and Clients.
Plan, co-ordinate and follow up on freight/cargo.
Monitor transport availability.
Administration and operational support.
Training to specialize in logistics and supply chain managment.
Candidate Requirements
Matric and tertiary qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain Managment.
Energetic and driven individual.
Have excellent telephone and negotiation skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
Professional and well oganised.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong administration skills.
Ability to work in a pressurized environment providing solutions to complex issues.
Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
